Mohamed Hamza is leading the commercial operations across GCC and LEVANT Countries.
Mohamed holds a bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical science from Alexandria university -Egypt, with more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Before joining Biopharma in 2008, he has crafted his professional career with years of experiences in several multinational companies, building a strong business network across the gulf region and has gained significant knowledge and expertise to identify market opportunities. During his journey, Mohamed has managed operations in several Biotech and rare disease products with long track records of successful launches.
Mohamed established and developed sustainable business in both speciality and Rare Diseases, serving thousands of patients and facilitating their access to first-in-class and best-in-class treatments, setting the required infrastructures and launch capabilities for emerging business.

Dr. Tamer Eissa
General Manager
Tamer joined the company in October 2008 as Sales Director, bringing with him over 15 years of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, in 2013 he has promoted to the position of General Manager. Under his leadership, the total turnover of Biopharma raised to exceed $ 140 Millions. Biopharma-MEA is now a Middle East pharmaceutical company with presence across the Middle East markets and with total number of employees exceeding 75 employee.
From January 2005 till end of December 2007. Tamer served as Country Manager for Saudi Arabia at Serono pharmaceuticals, responsible for product portfolio including infertility and neurology innovative biotech products. Under his leadership, the company has improved significantly its market shares in the Saudi markets, and has successfully achieved its top and bottom lines targets. Following the acquisition of Serono pharmaceuticals by Merck KGoA, Tamer has been moved to the role of Business Director – South Gulf at MerckSerono. During his leadership, the company has been able to improve its business infrastructure and strengthen its position in the South Gulf region.
Tamer is a pharmacist, with Bachelor degree of pharmaceutical sciences from Alexandria university, Egypt. He received a M.B.A degree from Strathclyde Business School, Scotland, in 2007.

Amira Ahmed
Associate Director, Pharmacovigilance
Amira Ahmed is the Scientific office manager leading the regulatory, PV, Medical & Quality system of ABC.
Amira holds MBA from Cairo Uv. , and Pharmacovigilance diploma from Bordeaux Uv., France in addition to Bachelor degree in pharmaceutical Science in 2005.
Amira has long experience in governmental and private pharmaceutical sectors as she was a production pharmacist in Vacsera then a member of Biological and Pharmaceutical regulatory departments at the Egyptian drug authorities.
Amira has eleven years of massive experience in leading Pharmacovigilance & regulatory activities across GCC countries. -
Dr. Mohamed Ramzy
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Mohamed is the founder and currently the Chief Executive Officer at Biopharma Middle East and Africa.
Dr. Ramzy own a unique record of success and fingerprints in the biotech and niche pharmaceutical industry in the Middle East. In 1987 Dr. Ramzy has started his career in the pharmaceutical industry, working in many roles, and many countries in the Middle East. He joined Serono Pharmaceuticals as a Sales Manager for the Gulf region in 1998 , then 2002 he took the role of Sales Director for the Saudi and Gulf region. Later on he became the General Manager for the Middle East at Serono pharmaceuticals.
July 2007, Dr. Ramzy put in all his expertise of 25 years in multinational pharmaceutical companies to establish Biopharma Middle East and Africa, as a regional Middle East company, with its headquarter in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Hany Elmarakby
Hany leads the operation of ABC as General manager establishing the business of ABC since 2020 bringing with him over 25 years of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical.
From 2011 till 2017. Hany served as Regional Business Head leading the CHC business of Bohrniger Ingeheim in Egypt, North Africa, GCC, & Near East. Hany has massive experience in Biotech and niche products through leading the business of Organon in Gulf states & Iran from 2008 to 2011 and the sales operation of Serono in KSA & Sub-Saharan countries in Africa from 2003 to 2008.
Hany holds MBA from Lincoln university, UK and Leadership diploma from ILM, UK. He has graduated as a pharmacist, with Bachelor degree of pharmaceutical sciences from Cairo university, Egypt.
